Purchasing

When items are purchased from us we accept payment by credit or debit card or cash. When purchasing your new appliance our staff will inform you of a delivery day and whether an AM (9AM - 1PM) or PM (2PM - 5PM) time. For items in stock this is normally next day. For items we have to order we will inform you of when we expect it from the manufacturer/supplier and deliver the next day. Please Note we do not deliver on a Sunday or Thursday.

Prices

Please note that prices can vary day to day. When placing your order you are purchasing the item at the price shown at the time. Should a price subsequently change after the order is placed we are unable to adjust your order. Please note that we can not be held resonsible for any typographical errors on the website with regards to pricing or specification, or should the price change and the website has not been updated.

Deliveries

At the time of delivery a signature will be required from a responsible person. Please note you will be signing for items in good condition. We will be unable to consider claims after the item is checked and a signature received.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Installation

We install most of the items we supply ourselves. We will only install to suitable supplies that are up to standard. We will not carry out any plumbing work and currently we do not install gas, or some built in, products. However, we can arrange for a local, qualified installer to carry out the work for you at a reasonable cost.

 

Flooring

We cannot be held liable for any damage to flooring, this is why we recommend you protect any floorings the delivery team may use during delivery. We will require a signature for cushion flooring or lino as these are easily damaged and the items we supply can be heavy and awkward to move.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Third Party Installers

There are times we arrange for, or put you in touch with, third party installers. Whilst we endeavour to deliver as we have arranged, sometimes there are times this is not possible due to vehicle breakdowns, manufacturers or suppliers not arriving with the goods etc. Although the installers we use are very understanding, we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges and expenses caused by any delay in delivering goods outside our control

 

 

 

 

 

 

Incorrectly Ordered or Damaged Items

If an item is ordered incorrectly or in error and no longer required a returns charge may be made. Items are only returnable if they are in a boxed as new condition. We do not accept returns of unboxed items or if they have been used or installed. Unwanted items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery and are subject to inspection. Do not install or use any damaged or unwanted items asthis counts as acceptance of goods and deems them non-returnable. You have duty of care whilst the goods are in your possession and we reserve the right to charge you for any damage that may have occurred during this period.

Collection Of Items

Subject to the approval of staff, you are able to collect items purchased from us. We do not normally keep back up items in the shop but will arrange for products to be brought to the shop as soon as possible for collection. Please Note there are times or situations we will not be able to arrange for items to be collected.

Our Services

Free Local Delivery

We deliver all large items purchased from us locally Free Of Charge. We will deliver your item to a room of your choice. There is no charge for delivering up steps, unlike most national retailers who will not deliver where there are over two steps or to flats.

 

 


Installation

We install most items purchased from us to a suitable supply. We do not carry out plumbing work, neither do we currently install gas appliances, some built in appliances or fires and fireplaces. However, we can arrange for a local, qualified installer for you who will be cheaper than the National compaies.

 

Recycling

We can remove your old product, on a like for like basis, for recycling. There is a charge for this as we are charged ourselves by the recycling companies. This ranges from £10 for washing machines, cookers etc. to £20 for refrigeration products, but our staff will inform you of the cost at time of purchase.

 


Delivery Times

We normally arrange for a delivery time between 9 AM and 1 PM, or between 2 PM and 5 PM, so you are not waiting in all day for us. We can telephone you when our delivery staff are on the way if required. Please Note: We do not deliver on a Thursday or a Sunday.

We have many items on display in our shop and can give information on them, so rather than just looking at pictures online, call into our shop and we can demonstrate how they work to you.
